SILKY & AROMATIC

The story of the Tawny from Quinta das Tecedeiras is a bit special. Because in fact each of the four vintages that have supplied wine to this TawnyReserva could have been sold as Colheitas. They are from 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2008. The bottle was bottled in 2016, so at this time all the wines were more than 7 years old.The wine is rust red with a brownish tint, as we typically see with Tawnies that are under 15 years old. In the nose we get great aromatic complexity with notes of caramel and dried fruits, especially figs and almonds and walnuts. In the mouth it is silky smooth with a well-integrated acidity and sweetness and chocolate-coated tannins that give an elegant finish.

Vinen er rustrød over i det brunlige som vi typisk ser det med Tawnies der er under 15 år gamle. I næsen får vi stor aromatisk kompleksitet med noter af karamel og tørrede frugter, særligt figner og mandler og valnødder.I munden er den silkeblød med en velintegreret syre og sødme og chokoladeovertrukne tanniner, der giver en elegant finish.
